About The Green Riders

My photo
The Green Riders
Catherine and Oliver set off on a journey of discovery to explore the sustainability heroes that exist all across America. The inspiring and entertaining stories of these heroes and their projects are told throughout this blog. Oliver is a stay-at-home father whose daughters are becoming increasingly independent and whose wife generously gives Oliver the time to develop and execute his passion for sustainability in general and electric transportation in specific. Catherine is a naturopathic doctor who has returned from over 20 years living in Sweden. Her work as a healer has become increasingly difficult as the health of the planet deteriorates. The environmental impacts on health pose a threat that can only be resolved by healing the planet. Michael is a third brother who supported the ride by building the electric bicycles with a team of very competent bicycle and electric drive enthusiasts in Marin County, CA. He is currently building electric cargo bikes designed for large loads in urban settings.
